Terms & Conditions for Online Services

Golden Park Hospital — Vasai West, Palghar District, Maharashtra

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. Who We Are

These Terms govern your use of Golden Park Hospital's website and online patient portal (together, the "Services"). Golden Park Hospital ("Hospital," "we," "us") is a multispecialty hospital located in Vasai West, Palghar District, Maharashtra, India. The Hospital operates a single facility, in Vasai — we do not have branches or centres elsewhere in India. We are both the healthcare provider and the operator of this website and portal — there is no separate technology company involved. All clinical care is provided by Registered Medical Practitioners ("RMPs") holding valid registration under Indian medical law.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or a parent/legal guardian registering and acting on behalf of a minor or dependent patient, to create an account or book an appointment.

3. What the Services Include

3.1 Appointment booking — requesting and scheduling in-person or video appointments with our doctors.

3.2 Messaging — secure messaging between you and your care team through the portal.

3.3 Video teleconsultation (patients in India — see Section 4).

3.4 International Patient Services (patients outside India — see Section 5).

3.5 Online payment — appointment fees can be paid online through our payment partner, Razorpay, subject to its terms. Fees are shown before you pay, and cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy at /refund-policy.

4. Teleconsultation (Patients Located in India)

4.1 Nature of the service. Video consultations are conducted in line with India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. They are provided only to patients who are physically located within India at the time of the consultation.

4.2 Limitations. A video consultation is not equivalent to an in-person physical examination. Some conditions cannot be safely assessed remotely; where the treating doctor determines an in-person examination is necessary, you will be advised to visit our facility in Vasai West, Palghar District. The Hospital operates only from this one location — where a condition is outside what we can treat, we will refer you elsewhere rather than direct you to another Golden Park facility.

4.3 Consent. Before your first video consultation on each appointment, you will be asked to give explicit, informed consent, recorded in your patient record, as required under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. This consent covers the specific points in our separate Consent for Online Consultation document, which forms part of these Terms.

4.4 Video technology. Consultations are conducted using Google Meet solely as the communication tool. Google Meet is not the medical service — it is the video-conferencing technology the Hospital uses to deliver it. Your consultation is with your treating RMP, not with Google.

4.5 Prescriptions. Certain medicines, including Schedule X drugs and other controlled substances, cannot be prescribed through teleconsultation under Indian telemedicine rules, regardless of what is discussed on the call.

4.6 Identity and records. We will make reasonable efforts to verify your identity. Consultation details are recorded in your patient record in line with applicable Indian medical record-keeping requirements.

5. International Patient Services (Patients Located Outside India)

5.1 What this is. For prospective patients located outside India, we offer a case review and treatment facilitation service — this is not a diagnostic teleconsultation, and no diagnosis, treatment plan, or prescription is issued through it.

5.2 How it works. You may submit your existing medical reports, prior diagnosis, and relevant history through the portal. A member of our clinical team will review what you have shared and may respond with a written assessment of possible treatment options, an estimated cost, and next steps — based entirely on information you have already obtained from a doctor in your home country, not on a new remote examination by us.

5.3 What we will help coordinate. Where you choose to proceed, we can assist with a hospital invitation letter for medical visa purposes, treatment cost estimates, and general guidance on planning your visit. (Travel and accommodation coordination, dedicated case-manager contact, and multilingual support — once available — will be described here as they're introduced.)

5.4 Where the actual medical care happens. Diagnosis, examination, treatment planning, and any prescription occur only once you are physically present at Golden Park Hospital's facility in Vasai West, Palghar District, Maharashtra, conducted by an RMP under Indian medical law, in the same manner as for any other patient. You will need to travel to Vasai for this — we do not have any other facility in India where this care can take place.

5.5 No local medical advice. Nothing provided under this section is intended as, and should not be relied on as, medical advice applicable under the laws of your country of residence. We do not hold a medical license in your country, and this service does not create a doctor-patient relationship until you are examined in person in India.

5.6 Not for emergencies. This service must never be used for a medical emergency. Contact your local emergency services immediately if you are experiencing one.

6. Medical Records, Prescriptions & Test Results (features not yet live)

Our portal will, in future, allow you to view prescriptions, test results, and medical records issued by the Hospital online. Until this is available, these are provided through the Hospital's existing in-person and physical/administrative processes, not through the portal.

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete information — including your identity, medical history, current medications, allergies, and reason for the visit — and to promptly correct anything that changes. Inaccurate information may affect the safety and quality of care we can provide, particularly in a remote consultation.

8. Accounts & Access

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

New doctor, staff, or administrator accounts are reviewed and approved by hospital administration before access is granted.

We may suspend or terminate access that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, unauthorized, or unsafe.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal and health information is processed in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and is treated as sensitive personal data.

It is used only to provide your care and related administrative purposes, and is not shared outside the Hospital's care team without your separate consent, except where required by law.

International patients: submitting information through the International Patient Services described in Section 5 involves transferring your data to systems located in India. By using that service, you consent to this transfer.

Our Privacy Policy at /privacy explains what we collect, how long we retain it, and your rights.

10. Emergency Disclaimer

None of the Services — teleconsultation, messaging, or International Patient Services — are a substitute for emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, go to the nearest emergency room or call for emergency help immediately.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and portal — including text, design, and the Hospital's name and branding — belongs to Golden Park Hospital and may not be copied or used without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Hospital is not liable for issues arising from inaccurate information you provide, from your use of the Services for anything other than their intended purpose, or from circumstances outside our reasonable control (e.g., internet or third-party service outages, including Google Meet). Nothing in this section limits liability for clinical negligence, which is governed by applicable Indian medical liability law.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes relating to these Terms are intended to be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having authority over Vasai and Palghar District, Maharashtra, being the location of the Hospital.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated effective date, and continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Contact & Grievances

For questions about these Terms or to raise a grievance regarding your data, contact the Grievance Officer, Golden Park Hospital, at +91 92267 37969. You can also raise a grievance in person — please visit Golden Park Hospital at Vasai West, Palghar District, Maharashtra — this is our only facility, and grievances cannot be handled at any other location in India.
