Book a ConsultationDr. Malcolm D. Pestonji is an orthopaedic spine surgeon specialising in endoscopic and minimally invasive spine surgery.
With nearly four decades of involvement in spine surgery, his clinical and academic work has focused on advancing less-invasive approaches to complex cervical and lumbar spinal disorders, including full-endoscopic surgery, unilateral biportal endoscopy (UBE), transforaminal surgery, foraminal decompression, revision spine surgery and minimally invasive fusion techniques.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Pestonji has devoted a substantial part of his career to surgical education. Through lectures, live surgical demonstrations, cadaveric workshops, mentorship programmes and international faculty participation, he has contributed to the training and development of surgeons interested in advanced endoscopic spine techniques.
His academic interests focus particularly on extending the boundaries of endoscopic surgery to technically challenging spinal pathology while preserving normal anatomy wherever clinically appropriate.
